Roll.EXE in Mega Man Battle Network.

Roll.EXE is a character from the Mega Man Battle Network series. The NetNavi in the games is operated by Maylu Sakurai.

Roll.EXE, is based on Roll from the other Mega Man games. Roll has the ability to attack other Navis with her antennas, as well as heal friendly programs. Roll (along with other NetNavis) also takes the form of a Battle Chip which allows her to be summoned for a single, but powerful, attack which then heals MegaMan for about half the damage that it deals.

Profile[]

She is a kind-hearted Navi with healing powers. Just as Maylu resists Dex's affections, Roll resists GutsMan.EXE's attempts to ask her out and has eyes on MegaMan.EXE.

She is close with MegaMan and the two of them are not quite as shy about their relationship as their operators are. She is the only Navi whose chips appeared in all six games. In five of those games, the chips were almost always given to Lan by Maylu at different points in the story. She has always had three chips, whereas in Mega Man Battle Network 3, all other Navis had a V4 and V5 chip. In Mega Man Battle Network 4, Roll is a boss character that is randomly encountered in the second tournament. After her defeat, she gives MegaMan a new Soul Unison. The only game where her chips aren't listed with V2 and V3 is Battle Network 5, where she has SP and DS chips. She regained the V2 and V3 chips in Battle Network 6, where EX and SP chips were used.

Trivia[]

  • In the Battle Network games, she is sometimes called Mayl.
